Except as expressed stated herin, Odds & Ends Ltd makes no representations or warranties, either express or implied, of any kind with respect to products sold. In no event shall Odds & Ends Ltd, its Directors, Employees and Representatives be liable for direct, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages related to the products sold.
PAYMENTS
All prices displayed on the items are in Kenya Shillings and are inclusive of applicable VAT.
To protect your security and to prevent fraud where possible, we reserve the right for proof of identity on ALL purchases.
We accept payment via M-PESA, Bank transfers, Visa / MasterCard credit cards (American Express is not accepted) and cheques but deliveries will only be made once the cheque clears from the bank within 4 working days and the bank transfers have reflected into our accounts.
All cheques must be made out in the name: Odds & Ends Ltd.
We require a full payment before delivery and furniture has to be picked or delivered in 21 days
If the furniture purchase is above 100,000/ you can pay a 50% deposit on it and clear the balance in 21 days, if the balance is not cleared the order is cancelled with a 10% cancellation charge and the balance has to be used in our showroom in 30 days
Administration charges of 5,000 Kenya Shillings will apply in special circumstances, for example, issuance of bad cheques by the customer.
Payment in full is required 72 hours prior to date of delivery so that arrangements can be made on time, as we do not accept payment on or after delivery.
EXCHANGES & RETURNS
Items once delivered cannot be returned or exchanged.
Please choose carefully as we do not give refunds or exchange if you simply change your mind or make the wrong decision or color selection.
Cancellations must be advised in writing, directly to the store of purchase. All cancellations are subject to a charge of higher of 2,000/= or 10% of the value of goods being cancelled.
Items under clearance are not eligible for any cancellation, refund, or exchange.
Any Custom order by way of altering the fabric choices, design, size etc. of the furniture will require full payment upfront and is not eligible for any cancellation, refund, or exchange.
If you need a VAT refund, then please ensure the relevant original authorized and approved VAT paperwork is sent to us within 23 weeks from the date of this invoice.
Note we will not make any refunds so any credit balance must be utilized by a purchase within 7 days of the credit appearing on your account.
RESERVATION & STORAGE OF GOODS
Items will not be reserved until a minimum of 50% of the value of the invoice has been paid.
Goods can only be stored in our warehouse for a maximum period of 21 days from the date of invoice.
For our locally manufactured furniture, goods must be collected within 7 days from the date the goods were ready at our workshop.
Storage charges of 5% of the total invoice will apply on a monthly basis for goods not collected after 21 days.
If goods are not collected in the stipulated period, we will cancel the order and levy the higher of 2,000/= or 10% cancellation charge to your account.
Storage facility is not applicable for items on any sale promotion or items under clearance.
DELIVERIES
Please provide your exact delivery address and contact mobile number. Incorrect information may cause delay in processing your delivery for which Odds & Ends Limited cannot be held accountable.
Please note that in case the goods cannot be delivered due to wrong address or non-availability of contact on the given address, or the person could not be contacted on provided phone number(s). The Next delivery will only be made on additional transport charges and availability of transport.
At the time of your delivery, you or your representative will be asked to sign a form to acknowledge that the goods were delivered in good and proper condition.
Deliveries when using third party transport an official communication is required from the customer indicating the driver’s name, ID, vehicle registration number collecting the goods. Odds & Ends Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage or theft that may occur during and thereafter.
